Wednesday 28 Sep 2005 14:57 BSTServer problems solved
The webserver's main CPU fan broke down, causing it to crash continuously. Our helpful hosting provider fixed the problem, and all services are back up and running. The outage lasted from 27th sept aprox. 14h00 CET until 28th sept 15h45. Enjoy our services.
Wednesday 24 Aug 2005 14:05 BSTFixed : dyns.net domain expired
Hi, Some users reported that the domain name dyns.net had indeed expired. I have renewed the registration for this domain once again. Have fun!
Wednesday 11 Feb 2004 22:36 GMTDyNS moved to new server - again
To improve the stability of our service, we moved the webserver again. We also took this opportunity to fix some bugs in the dns console.
You can now delete domains and re-create them after 60 seconds.

Enjoy!
Friday 31 Oct 2003 23:56 GMTDyNS moved to a new server + code updates
Hi everyone, Our old webserver was having a hard time serving all our users during the last months. So we decided to move the service to a brand new server. Speed improvements should be noticable !
*** important note for the update clients ***
The IP address of our webserver has changed. If you have hard-coded our web server's ip address in your update scripts, you must update it to the current IP address of the DyNS webserver (213.232.93.27). It is better let your updqte client resolve www.dyns.net first , and use that address to send the update. We have also fixed an annoying bug in the host-update routine so that now you can update hosts that have the same name as your domain name. For example you can now update the IP address of your domain name 'mydomain.com'. This is very convenient if you want to run a mail server on your domain name.
Monday 18 Aug 2003 10:16 BSTspam spam spam !
We got flooded with requests from some weird network range, draining resources on our web server. We shut down access from that ip-range for now.
